On the northern tip of the island of New Britain sits the town of Rabaul just waiting for a volcano to erupt. The town is located within a circle of volcanic craters which have for months now have been threatening to blow. If they do, no-one can foretell with any real accuracy what the consequences might be. All that people can do is prepare for the worst. This is David Ransome's news report for Nationwide on the region's remarkable disaster plan.
