Today we're surrounded by computers- you will find them in many everyday household appliances such as washing machines, in electric cookers, in central heating control units, even in toasters. In fact, most of the computers we'll all be coming across in the future will be built into the equipment itself and though we may not see them, it will be the computers which are 'in control.'.
